New CAC-SMART Experimental Station - Authority Recognition
Our experimental station is aimed to provide to the market of agribusiness with propper tools in order to develop every business in an professional, efficient and fluent way, regarding current scientific and knowledge demands.
Today the environmental protection is a very important issue to CAC-SMART like it is for our clients. From this perspective we invest resources to create the Experimental Station. Our facilities has all the requirements establish by SAG (National Agricultural Service), regarding our quality standard and environmental respect.
Looking our effort and especially our complying to establish law, SAG recognized CAC-SMART Experimental Station by resolution N° 1313 of March 13, 2008.
Experimental Station Services
The mentioned Resolution enables us to provide the following services:

Efficacy trials as required support for Registration Requests of substances in front of SAG.

Extension and/or modification of substances' labels.

Evaluation of new molecules and compounds.

Evaluation of experimental substances.

Management of experimental substances. This includes importation, customs clearance, storage, experimental trials and disposal of test substance according local regulation.
The director of Experimental Station is the Forestry Engineer Carlos Felipe Caballero who was trained at UC Davis in tree fruit; GLP (Good Laboratory Practices under EPA and UE methodology) at SynTech Research Facilities, Sanger, California. Actually he is bringing collaboration like PFI (Principal Field Investigator) to SynTech Research in USA and Latin America.
Our researchers staff includes specialists and academic in the areas of plant pathology, weed control, growth regulators, vegetable production, seed production and post harvest vegetables and fruits and also in forestry and veterinary areas.
All this experience, knowledge and contacts give us the possibilities to do efficacy and GLP trials in Chile and Latin-American. In fact CAC-SMART is doing GLP trials for international Companies in Chile.
