CAC-SMART

The company established itself in the national market in 1992, with the objective of providing to agricultural and farming companies the means to professionally establish and develop businesses in this field, based on a strong support in research and development. The company directed its efforts into research and development, with a strong conviction that this is the correct way to face up to current challenges regarding management requirements, globalisation, quality and service to the market.

At present, the team of CAC-SMART is integrated by professionals and technicians in the fields of Agricultural, Forestry and Veterinary, with a broad international field experience, solid academic ground and a constant updating on pre harvest and post harvests management techniques in fruit trees. An example of the latest is post graduate studies obtained at the U. of Davis, California, USA., and Master Degree courses on post-harvest of vegetables and fruit from two of our experienced professionals.

Furthermore, CAC-SMART holds private agreements with well known professionals and institutions, with a worldwide recognition of their prestige. All of this allows CAC-SMART to rely on an expertise on the diverse areas of its activity and state of the art technology in laboratory equipment.
